About Chuck and Bonnie

Chuck and Bonnie Milliken reside at 245 Tyler’s Landing Road in Norway, South Carolina, where they spend many a happy  moment looking at the South Edisto River running through their back yard.  Joining them, and making for an even happier household, are the four mutts washed up on their doorstep one way or another.  For the first half of 2012 they left sunny and warm South Carolina behind to travel to unsunny and unwarm Klaipeda, Lithuania, where Chuck stepped out of retirement for one more semester of teaching economics.

Speaking of mutts, Bonnie is heavily involved in MAMAS animal shelter, where she and several other persons manage to rescue and place upward of 500 dogs a year.

Chuck is a retired professor of Economics from Siena Heights University in Adrian, Michigan.  Other than some church work, teaching Sunday  school, and a little help at MAMAS, he is free to pursue whatever.  Usually this involves investments, but often involves naps.

Bonnie and Chuck have 6 children and 18 grandchildren (16 living).  They will have been married 36 years in this new year of 2012.

For those of you for whom this sketch isn’t enough, write for their definitive biographies, available at slight additional charge – although that’s not all!  if you are among the first 10,000 responders, you may get DOUBLE the offer!  That.s TWO biographies!!  Just pay separate shipping and handling.

  1. Godspeed Chuck and Bonnie,

Good job and adventure for you both. We think, and hope, you’ll have a great time. To be sure it will be a challenge but you should be up to it.

  2. Dear Chuck and Bonnie,

Warm regards from the Netherlands. We’ve met in Bastogne, where we had a tour in the barracks.
Hopefully you have had a nice trip through Europa.
May God bless you in many ways,
    Marco

    • Hi Marco!

So good to hear from you. We very much enjoyed meeting you and your father at Bastogne. You’ll be able to read about our visit to the Netherlands here on our post but also hope you will write us at our e-mail address so we’ll have yours as well. Hopefully, we may meet again–perhaps in the US. God Bless—-Chuck and Bonnie
